Brooklynn Chipps, a fifth-year senior at Wayne State in Nebraska, won the women's weight throw title with a fifth-round effort of 67-11 (20.70m) at the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Chipps became only the second female athlete in program history to win an indoor title in any event, improving from 14th place last year.
